News Release

Indianapolis — International Cleaning Equipment USA (ICE) announces the addition of Rob Glassmeyer to their company’s leadership team. He is the organization’s new President and will manage sales efforts while working with distribution management in all floor equipment programming.

“Rob is the perfect fit for ICE and everything our company is about,” said Tom Vanderbie, Partner and CEO of ICE. “He has massive amounts of experience and knows more about the industry and distribution than anybody. We can’t wait to see what great things he can bring to our business.”

Before joining ICE, Glassmeyer started as a Manufacturer’s Representative for 20 years, representing Castex, Nobles, Tennant and other products within the cleaning industry. Glassmeyer was hired by the Nilfisk-Advance Group as Director of Distributor Development, North America. Rob left to become vice president of Viper Industrial Products. Shortly thereafter, Viper was acquired by Nilfisk-Advance with Rob eventually being promoted to their Vice President of Commercial Sales.

“I am excited for this wonderful new opportunity,” said Glassmeyer. “I’ve spent my career learning about and working with this industry’s impressive distributor network. ICE is developing cutting edge technology and best in class products for the floor care equipment industry. This is a fantastic organization with experienced, customer oriented people.”

With the upcoming launch of their new product line, ICE needed to hire an experienced executive. Launching in 2015, i-Synergy will bring professional cleaning machine technology into the mobile era. ICE products will soon include lithium-ion batteries and a wireless telecommunication information system to generate and email daily reports to designated end users by email.

These reports are designed to give owners or administrators detailed information about their machine’s usage, timing, and the health of each component. These features benefit the end user financially and increase productivity and efficiency by catching maintenance issues immediately and keeping employees more accountable.

“This the next step for our industry.” said Vanderbie. “It’s a game changer.”
